What is FFS All-Stars?

All-Star voting is an event purely for fun and for community engagement in the Friend or Foe Series. Once the regular season has been completed, Friend or Foe community members can vote for their favorite players in each role to receive an “All-Star” title. 

At the end of a season, we’ll be hosting a small FFS3 All Stars Event, where the winners of the election will be able to compete in a for-fun event produced by Friend or Foe. Details of the All-Stars event will be announced shortly after the season concludes.

When does voting close?

Votes for All-Stars and MVP will close at midnight (PST) on June 7th for Heroic, and June 10th for Mythic. 

Is All-Star voting the same as MVP voting?

No. All-Star voting is a fun way for the public and players to show which specific people they enjoyed watching, engaging with, and made the most impact with. MVP voting is not public and is specifically designated for competitors, coaches, and specific staff members to decide on the player they felt had the most impact in the season.

For both the All-Stars and MVP voting, you’ll be able to select your top three candidates in each role. The players eligible to be elected must also have played in at least three Friend or Foe games in the season. Your candidate will receive a value that reflects whether you placed them 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.  Theoretically, your All-Star candidate can simultaneously be an MVP candidate.

Who is eligible to vote?

For All-Stars, voting is open to all members of the FFS Public Discord Server, including players, staff, and audience members.

For MVP voting, only Coaches and Players who have participated in at least three Friend or Foe games on their designated role in the regular season will receive a vote.

When do the results get released?

Once all the votes are tallied up, we will announce the results at the opening of the FFS3 Grand Finals. You’re free to express your votes publicly, but it’s completely optional.

At the Grand Finals, we’ll announce:

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd All-Star Winners of each role

  • MVP Winner of each role

  • Coach of the Split (Heroic only)

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Season MVP Winner
