Format: Clash Bracket (teams play 3 matches)

Registration Closes: Sep 24th

Draw Show: Sep 30th

Match Days: Oct 5th, 6th, and 7th

Match Times: 5pm up to 8pm PST

For those who are new here, Captains Draft is a special mixer tournament where players are allowed to draft completely new teams from a registered pool of players. For this event, all ranks are allowed to play and be drafted.

General Tournament Info

Draft Day

  • September 30th @ 5:00 pm PST

  • Captains will snake-draft from the available player pool until each team has 5 players on stream. In the case of interested players not being a clean multiple of 5, undrafted players will be eligible as universal substitutes for any teams requiring them throughout the event.

Tournament Format

Day 1

  • October 5th; 5PM - 8PM PST

  • All teams will play one Best-of-Three series against their first opponents. All matches occur in tandem and may or may not be streamed on alternate channels.

Day 2

  • October 6th; 5PM - 8PM PST

  • All teams will play one Best-of-Three series against their first opponents. All matches occur in tandem and may or may not be streamed on alternate channels.

Day 3

  • October 7th; 5PM - 8PM PST

  • The top two teams will play on the main FoF stream.

Player Eligibility

  • Players of all ranks are eligible to participate in this event.

  • Captains will be forced to draft themselves in the snake draft. The round they draft themselves will be based on their peak rank of the current and previous two seasons relative to the overall player pool. This allows for players of all ranks to sign up as captains without a competitive disadvantage.
