Edwin’s Week 2 Heroic Power Rankings

Click to see Week 1’s Power Rankings

We only saw one week so far out of all the teams. It’s still hard to judge a proper power rankings, but the current standings reflect our current thoughts anyway.

8th - PTP [-4]

I don’t think our old guard has lived up to the hype we all expected. I believe PTP can play much more competitively than what we had seen this past week. It may be a little rough to not have TheProDH there fighting along sides with them but Rat Autocrat has been a great member to have as well. Once they build the chemistry within the team, there is a strong chance we will see the PTP we once remembered.

7th - TAS [-4]

Still the fan favorites, Team Asorth is currently walking on a similar road to their last season at Friend of Foe. I remember not seeing them win their first game until their fourth match, and then they took the league by storm. As of right now, I think what’s missing from their gameplay is synchronizing all five members to play as one. It may have worked in their favor last season to go in and 1v5 a whole team, but everyone is playing in a much harder league now and our opponents are far better than they were last season.

6th - SPE [+/-]

Team Spear, there is no need to panic. You have many more games to prove yourself in this league. There is no doubt that you as a team made our series much more competitive and I believe once y’all are able to find your team’s style and master that craft, you’ll be mega scary to play against.

5th - SWO [+3]

Team Sword, I definitely doubted you against Team Spear. In all honesty, I thought it was over at the very beginning. I did not believe your draft would win you the game. However, you guys have a style to go in and fight no matter the cost. King Gator looked unkillable and AuqaPear5160 became a one-shot hero for all of you. I hope you continue to prove doubters wrong again.

4th - FEC [+1]

It may come as a surprise to some of you to see FEC below YUBI as they were the team to 2-0 them during the Qualifier Week. They came out strong during their first game against Team Sword and controlled the game for the majority of the time. However, their match up against INT was a little rough for them. They, as a unit were in the right spots at the right time to play for the Rift’s neutral objectives, however, they will need to work on their team fights if they want to be competitive against the current top three teams.

3rd - YUBI [+4]

Look the f**k out everyone, hide your loved ones because this team has come to play and they are currently hard-flexing their guns. Utility Monster is an absolute beast in the Jungle and he has shown time and time again that you can’t out-jungle this monster. I mentioned last week that PTP had the best bot lane but JeffGodGamer and Brian Tsang right now are currently at the top and stacking their KDA. Teams should prepare well against YUBI because their presence in the league has boosted the competition. I’m hoping they continue their momentum as this team could be the front-runner to take it all.

2nd - BBZ [+/-]

Not too far behind from INT, BBZ has shown consistency with their game plans as they play the map to their own pace and show their strengths in team fights. AllMightTheHero, Dakks and ChampionRed have been incredible upgrades to last season’s BBZ by providing a cohesive, consistent level of skill to the team. On top of that, Lythz is extremely underrated. Teams seem to forget his existence on the Rift and so far he is looking to be the best Mid Laner in the Heroic League. I hope this team can help Cross Songo make it to the playoffs and achieve their goal to be crowned as Season 3 champions so he can finally retire.

1st - INT [+/-]

INT has not slowed down since the end of Season 2. They proved again that they are an unstoppable force right off the bat. What is more amazing about this team is that, for one, we are seeing INT incorporate newer champion pools in their composition and I like that they are adjusting to the new meta. Secondly, they are winning without their full line up. Fish and XDelta13 dominated their lanes while Brocklee900 moved to the ADC role to fill in the void of KennyHammerspike where he has performed flawlessly. I can only imagine how good this team will be once everyone is back together.
