“Hello all, I’m the Top-laner for Team Ace in FFS3 Heroic. I go by Burstlimit now simply because I don’t want confusion between me and my brother anymore. After evaluating each team’s opggs as well as their matches in the qualifiers, I will rank where I think each team places. These are all predictions and could be completely wrong, please do not look at this with the idea that I am flaming teams.”

8th - PTP [+/-]
Team PTP stays as the best undefeated at being defeated team. They hold the record for most games with 0 kills and are the only team with games that have 0 kills. However, I don’t think it’s even close to being doomed for team PTP. I have a great amount of faith in Rat Autocrat, who used to go by Teph. I strongly believe that this team will begin showing everyone their true strength once their synergy comes in.
7th - TAS [-2]
Team TAS moves down two ranks after going 0-2 in the first week. I would have put TAS in 6th place because of their hard week against team INT but they were heavily stomped in both games. I believe this team’s core issue is rust. It’s not like team TAS isn’t making plays across the map, it just feels like they’re extremely unconfident. This could be an issue that stems from comms or being under-practiced. While I do have TAS at 7th, I still have high hopes for this team.
6th - SPE [-3]
Team Spear takes a heavy hit in my power rankings after losing to two teams that I had ranked lower than them. I believe this team may have some internal ego issues that need to be fixed. I’m not fond of the Nocturne top pick. Unless you’re ACE Delete, who only plays Nocturne, you really need to put pressure on the map or CS-gap the enemy laner which Orphic did not do. Despite this week’s mishaps, I still have high hopes for this team because of their coach, ShieldedValor, as well as their hints of potential shown throughout the two games.
5th - YUBI [+1]
Team YUBI is one of the only teams to go undefeated in the first week along with INT and BBZ. While it’s a great start, I am still not very high on this team. They had probably the easiest weekend, dodging INT and BBZ whilst also playing 2 of the weakest teams in TAS and PTP. However, I should still give credit where it’s due. As predicted, team YUBI’s bot lane dominated both games with JeffGodGamer throwing nukes every few seconds with his Sivir Q. I also like how this team showed identity in the form of their drafts with Nocturne and Kennen being picked in both games paired with an engage mid lane. While this team has identity, I’ll have to see how this team will play against one of the top 4 teams to know how they can improve.
4th - SWO [+3]
A big surprise to me at least. Team Sword end Week One beating their much higher ranked sister-team, “Spear,” and losing to the second strongest team in the league. One thing that I like about Team Sword is the fact that they have an identity, something a lot of teams are lacking. They tend to play tank tops while Elk Milk rolls his face all over his keyboard every 3 minutes dying pretty much every time he makes a play but keeping the aggression high. This team is very messy in terms of macro-play but they also seem to have trust in each other which is shown in their match against SPE where Elk Milk would repeatedly slam his face into his keyboard and his team would follow him no matter how horrendous or amazing the engage is. I literally think Elk Milk will go for a play that will result in a 1 for 2 and still say worth.
3rd - FEC [+1]
Team FEC moves up to 3rd place for my power rankings. While many may think YUBI is deserving of the second place spot due to their 2-0 start, FEC faced the nightmare that is team INT and managed to put a good fight for about 3 minutes and 21 seconds. On the flipside, team FEC managed to take down Spear which I previously had ranked at this spot in a dominant fashion. With one baron power play, team FEC went from a 5-5 stalemate to a 26-10 destruction. However, teams that are as strong or weaker than FEC must look towards how to properly snowball leads or create windows of opportunity or else a mechanically superior team like BBZ or macro dominant team like INT will just crush the entire league.
2nd - BBZ [+/-]
As predicted, Team BBZ’s dominate side-laning paired with their reliable bot lane has given them both wins. Like team INT, BBZ was using a sub for one game but still managed to dominate that game. Despite having both dominant games, I would still give team INT a heavy edge. Team BBZ faced teams that I ranked lower than the teams INT played and still took more resources and time to close out the game.
1st - INT [+/-]
No change here. Despite being at a fraction of their full strength, team INT has dominated last seasons runner-up in TAS as well as FEC with more than 10k gold leads in both games. What team INT seems to have that other teams don’t have is explosiveness. At one minute, they’re tied or close in kills, the next minute, they’re 10 kills up. This is a result of their strong synergy and correct macro decision making.
